Mumbai: The Coronavirus pandemic has created anxiety and distress worldover. While many businesses have been hit due to the lockdown caused by the virus, it’s also a time when brands are finding new ways to connect with consumers. Instead of running usual brand campaigns, businesses are using their platforms to spread awareness about how to fight COVID-19.
Hiver, a SaaS based email collaboration platform for teams, has launched a social media campaign encouraging people to practise social distancing to fight COVID-19. Hiver is communicating the practices of social distancing in a fun and light-hearted way. Using its brand mascot, which is an adorable bee, Hiver is conveying best practices such as greeting with an ‘Indian Namaste’ instead of a handshake, washing hands and wearing masks.
Earlier in April, Hiver rolled out a special plan to support businesses at the forefront of this fight. It rolled out a two-months free plan for any organisation offering essential services or helping control the spread of the virus at this critical time. Since Hiver helps teams collaborate over emails, the objective is to help these organizations work faster and more efficiently.
Hiver is committed to providing support to organizations through this initiative across the country. It is a global company with clients in as many as 30 countries and understands technological requirements vis-a-vis communication and collaboration in times like these.
