Mumbai: Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB), a FMCG company, has launched ‘Generations’, a powerful campaign film that challenges the pace of gender equality and calls for urgent action to accelerate change.
Featuring voices from within HCCB, the campaign sheds light on the resilience, perseverance, and progress made by individuals breaking barriers across generations. While celebrating strides toward gender parity, it also highlights the deep-seated challenges that remain, questioning how much longer the world is willing to wait for true equality.
The campaign is anchored in a staggering statistic—as per the World Economic Forum’s Global Gender Gap Report 2023, at the current pace, it could take 131 years to close the global gender gap, meaning parity won’t be achieved until 2154—more than five generations away. Through its ‘Generations’ campaign, HCCB challenges this timeline and reinforces the need for immediate collective action.
Conceptualized and executed by HCCB’s in-house team, ‘Generations’ aligns with the company’s longstanding commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and beyond.
As the world observes International Women’s Month, HCCB invites individuals and organizations to reflect, engage, and take meaningful action to ensure that gender equality is no longer a distant goal, but a reality within our lifetime.
