The globally successful TV show Game of Thrones returns for its sixth season on HBO Asia at the same time as the US on 25 April.
Airing at 9:00 AM Singapore time, there will be a same-day repeat at 9: 00 PM, with nine further episodes airing every Monday at the same time. The series will also be available on HBO On Demand and the HBO Go over-the-top (OTT) service in Hong Kong, after its recent introduction in Asia.
Based on the fantasy book series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R R Martin, the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning TV show chronicles an epic struggle for power in large, violent kingdom.
Returning actors for this series include Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Aidan Gillen (Petyr ‘Littlefinger’ Baelish), Diana Rigg (Lady Olenna Tyrell), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) and Jonathan Pryce (the High Sparrow).
A humorous weekly talk show called After the Thrones, hosted by Andy Greenwald and Chris Ryan, will also debut on the pay-TV network this season. It will be shown on HBO Signature every Sunday after the encore of each Game of Thrones episode.

In India Star World Premiere will bring the much anticipated season six of the HBO series to India right after its US telecast in April this year, read a statement. Other channels from the cluster — Star World and Star World HD — will also take the viewers through all the seasons of the show.
