Havas Worldwide India won the Grand Effie at effectiveness awards show the APAC Effies with an awareness-raising campaign to fight the custom of child brides in India with a white bindi – the dot worn on the foreheads of women – for charity Child Survival India.

Ogilvy won agency network of the year with the most awards, followed by BBDO and Lowe.
Ogilvy Mumbai was named agency of the year, winning with work for clients The Akanksha Foundation, Google and Hindustan Unilever.
India was the APAC Effies’ most successful country, winning the Grand Effie and the most gold awards – five – just ahead of Australia, which claimed four.
