Gupshup appointed Salim Ali as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) in Silicon Valley. With nearly 30 years of experience, he will oversee marketing strategy and support the global growth of Gupshup with the Conversation Cloud suite.
Salim has vast experience in leading diverse global teams in marketing, both in large enterprises and startups. He served as the Chief Marketing Officer at WordPress VIP, overseeing various marketing functions. Prior to this, he held senior positions at SAP, Avalara, and Veritas Technologies, managing teams across multiple regions.
At Gupshup, he will lead in developing a compelling brand story for key audiences, expanding global demand, and enhancing customer marketing through crucial GTM enhancements like industry marketing, value messaging, ROI-based storytelling, and global marketing operations for accelerated growth.

Salim holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern, and an M.S in Computer Science from Louisiana State University. He is an ardent movie buff with equal love for Hollywood and Bollywood creations.
