Mumbai: Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd. (GOLIL) has announced the appointment of Biresh Singh as Senior Vice President – Channel Sales. With an illustrious career spanning 26 years in the lubricant industry across sales, strategy, and business transformation, Singh brings a wealth of expertise in channel management, business development, and sales transformation, having held leadership positions at Castrol India.
In his new role, Singh will be responsible for driving Gulf Oil’s B2C channel expansion strategy, enhancing route-to-market efficiencies, and leveraging digital solutions to optimize sales performance. His appointment comes at a pivotal time as Gulf Oil focuses on strengthening its marketing ecosystem to meet the evolving demands of India’s automotive and industrial sectors.
Singh joins Gulf Oil with an extensive track record in the lubricants space, where he has played a pivotal role in sales transformation initiatives and executed strategic roadmaps, working closely with global and country-level stakeholders to enhance top-line and bottom-line performance. He has led route-to-market transformation efforts and collaborated with top consulting firms to develop and implement a future-ready sales model focused on digital enablement and operational efficiency. In previous leadership roles, Singh has headed key regional markets and managed large business units with revenues exceeding INR 1,000 crore.
