Greenstorm Foundation, a Global Creative Conservancy, announces the jury for the 14th Edition of the Greenstorm Global Photography Award. The Green Jury comprise critically acclaimed photographers Chet Kamat, Latika Nath, Nick Hall, and Sharad Haksar.
Greenstorm Global Photography Award has been organised in association with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) every year since 2009 and has become a prestigious honour for nature photographers globally.
The 4-member Jury will curate the entries submitted by photographers from across the world and nominate the finalists. The winners will be declared based on the verdict of the Jury and the online poll at www. greenstorm. green
Speaking on occasion, Dileep Narayanan, Managing Trustee of the Foundation, said: “This year, we have exceptional individuals with path-breaking achievements as our Jurors. We are honoured to have such an eminent Jury Panel. Their perspectives and inputs mean a lot to the creative community of photographers.”
“The Jury will soon finalise the theme for this year’s award and invite award submissions by July. The award is open to the public from any part of the world, and entry is free,” informed Dr Krishnakumar Mechoor, the Program Director. The online Global Photo Festival featuring the finalists will start on 2nd October, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji, he added.
Last year’s award saw a whopping 3519 entries submitted by photographers from 42 countries, including the USA, England, Canada, Algeria, Brazil, Iran, Malaysia, South Korea, Morocco and Vietnam.
