Singapore: Gowthaman Ragothaman, Global Client Lead at WPP and Global Blockchain Solutions Lead for GroupM, has decided to move on in pursuit of exploring opportunities in Blockchain.
Confirming the development to MediaNews4U, Gowthaman has stated that he is focusing on Blockchain for advertising and media. He is discussing with couple of prospective investors to start a new journey and explore his obsession towards the next big thing, Blockchain.
With this he is breaking two decade long association with WPP and GroupM, where he grew from ranks to ranks and reached top of the pyramid.
It was evident that Gowthaman, was strongly advocating the rollout Blockchain technology in advertising through various opinion pieces.
At WPP, Gowthaman was sphere heading various initiatives to embrace the technology. He was instrumental in WPP’s partnership with Zilliqa, a blockchainplatform, to build a programmatic alliance on blockchain designed to explore the application of the technology in the advertising ecosystem.
