Bengaluru: GITAM (Deemed to be University) has released a deeply reflective brand film that highlights the transformative journeys of its alumni—individuals who are quietly making an impact in India and across the world. Rather than focusing on accolades or grand achievements, the film brings to life stories grounded in purpose, resilience, and social contribution.
The narrative follows three alumni: Kassey Suhita Anupam, an IPS officer serving in Bihar; Satish Natti, a tech entrepreneur and founder of Gridaxon in the U.S.; and Goutam Surana, a sustainability leader behind ECO 365, an initiative focused on water conservation. Their stories offer a glimpse into how education at GITAM played a formative role in shaping their thinking and direction.
Sribharat Mathukumilli, President of GITAM, reflects on the essence of the film: “Transformation comes from how people respond to the world around them. At GITAM, we try to create an environment that quietly encourages people to think, act, and make a difference to the world. If the university catalysed that process, we are glad.”
Conceptualised by Manja Brandworks, the film is available on GITAM’s official digital platforms. It avoids hyperbole, choosing instead a thoughtful, grounded approach to storytelling—one that resonates with the university’s ethos of nurturing meaningful change.
In a world of fast-paced, success-driven messaging, GITAM’s brand film stands out by celebrating substance over flash, and purpose over prestige.
