Fortis Hospitals Mumbai has launched a social media campaign called #AtFortisWePledge to promote self-health and positivity. The campaign emphasizes the importance of healthy habits and lifestyles and aims to help patients follow through with their health-related resolutions. The campaign is intended for both patients and caregivers.
Dr S. Narayani, Business Head-Fortis Hospitals Maharashtra, said, “The purpose of the campaign is to encourage patients and their caregivers to make and follow through on their health-related new year’s resolutions, with support from the doctors & caregivers at Fortis. The aim is to promote self-health and wellness, which will in long run eventually reduce the need for hospitalizations and visits to outpatient clinics. Through this initiative, we intend to inspire individuals to prioritize their health and make choices that promote healthy living, leading to happier and healthier lives”.
Fortis Hospitals believes that poor self-care habits and an inability to maintain a healthy routine can lead to extended hospital stays and dissatisfaction with treatment. Therefore, upon discharge, healthcare providers ask patients to commit to a set of daily activities and routines and to make at least one lifestyle change for the entire year. This pledge will be shared on Fortis Hospital Mumbai’s social media platforms in an effort to encourage others to adopt similar healthy habits.
The brand further stated that the campaign will raise awareness not only among patients, but also among the general public, about the importance of preventive health measures in order to avoid future health problems.
