Fortis Hospitals Mumbai launches ‘#FirstCallFortis’ Campaign to revolutionize emergency healthcare access

Mumbai: Fortis Hospitals Mumbai, the city’s largest hospital network, has rolled out its innovative ‘#FirstCallFortis’ campaign, spotlighting the critical importance of swift action during medical emergencies. With a focus on its emergency helpline number, 022-4111 4111, the campaign introduces India’s first CGI-based digital engagement initiative in healthcare, marking a new era of community-centric healthcare awareness.

Designed to address the challenge of inaccessible emergency numbers during critical situations, the campaign emphasizes Fortis Hospitals’ commitment to offering world-class trauma and critical care. By urging individuals to save and remember the helpline number, #FirstCallFortis aims to reduce delays that could significantly impact patient outcomes.

Speaking about the campaign, Dr. S. Narayani, Business Head-Fortis Hospitals Maharashtra, said, “Through the #FirstCallFortis campaign, we are showcasing not just our capabilities of being the largest emergency-prepared healthcare network in Greater Mumbai, but also the convenience of reaching out to us with an easy-to-remember number in times of medical emergencies. This campaign is our promise to Mumbaikars that medical aid is just a call away.”

The campaign employs a slice-of-life narrative to create relatable messaging across diverse platforms, including:

  • Digital Engagement: CGI-based ads, a pioneering effort in Indian healthcare.
  • Outdoor Media: Hoardings, lit boards, and pole kiosks across Mumbai.
  • Cinemas: On-screen ads during popular films like Pushpa 2.
  • Community Outreach: Skits, plays, live interactions, and demonstrations at schools, colleges, workplaces, housing societies, and transport hubs.

The campaign emphasizes Fortis’ expertise in Level 1 trauma care, critical care facilities, and its robust ambulatory network, ensuring trust and preparedness among Mumbaikars.

The campaign aims to reach over 10 lakh households by World Health Day on April 7, 2025. Fortis is working tirelessly to instill a culture of emergency preparedness among the city’s residents.

Through these efforts, Fortis Hospitals Mumbai reiterates its promise to provide Mumbaikars with accessible, expert, and reliable medical care—just a call away, when every second counts.
