Poran Malani, Country Head, S4 Capital India shares his main Focus points for 2020.
Our primary Focus for 2020 is to introduce the full range of S4 Capital capabilities and its attendant value proposition to the Indian market. Specifically, S4 Capital is a new age, new era communications business.
Integration of offerings
We have brought a lot of new things to the marketplace. MediaMonks was launched and we merged with WhiteBalance a content development and production unit in Delhi. Simultaneously, we launched MightyHive in Mumbai.
Our first priority in 2020 is to integrate these offerings together as a cohesive, end-to-end, modern marketing solution for our clients. With this, we are well on our way to realizing the path and approach that Sir Martin Sorrell has outlined as the holy trinity for the company – focus on data, content creation and programmatic media planning and buying.
Focus on re-orienting the market
We also need to re-orient the market itself. In today’s fast paced landscape, all clients ask is for great work to be done in a cost efficient manner and in the least time possible. While market reality demands this, the traditional view has been that you can only have any two of these and have to sacrifice the third.
Our model however is designed to bring all of these three together for our clients. Faster, better, cheaper which equates to Speed.Quality.Value.
Speed comes from having the production and concepting together, not passing on the baton where interpretation and quality gets sacrificed, in addition to time.
Quality comes from adding data into insights, and tailoring production for each platform to maximise effectiveness. We call this fit for platform, fit for format.
Value comes from leveraging the effectiveness of smart and integrated production, a proprietary MediaMonks methodology to producing assets at scale.
Culture
In order to achieve this, we come to the third and final priority for the year. And that is getting the culture right. This is critical as we want to be the place where people want to be. It will be about the work environment, it will be about training, it will be about exposure to the new way of working, it will be making all our people future-ready. We need to create a culture of loyalty. Not loyalty of the people towards the company, but loyalty of the company towards its people.
