Cochin: After the success of the first Guinness World Record of largest audience in a 3D movie screening, Leading Malayalam Entertainment Channel – Flowers TV is going to make yet another Guinness World Record live. This time, the attempt will be made by none other than Kerala’s popular and vibrant TV host Sreekandan Nair, one of the successful and legendary anchor in the history of Malayalam Television, who is also the Managing Director of Flowers TV.
Apparently, the Title of the Guinness World Record will be “Most questions asked by a TV Talk Show Host in 6 hours”. Presently, the most questions asked by a TV Talk show host in 6 hours was 175 and was achieved by Graham Norton (UK) on the set of BBC Three’s ‘Big Chat with Graham Norton’ for comic relief at the BBC Television centrein London, UK, on 7 March 2013 with 200 Questions to break the world record. Apparently, Sreekandan Nair Show will be making an attempt to better this numbers with 300 questions on his Marathon Live Chat show on 18th March 2018.
This world record attempt will also mark the significance of a talk show completing 1000 episodes and for the first time in Indian television, a talk show will break a Guinness World Record on it’s 1000th episode.The Live telecast of Sreekandan Nair Show for Guinness World Record will start at 12 noon and it will conclude at 6:00 PM.
After the Guinness World Record, the event will witness some of the most entertaining performances by the top entertainers of the Flowers TV. After the Flower’s Star Night, official declaration of Guinness World Record will take place at 8.00 pm

Sreekandan Nair has hosted several popular shows like NammalThammil, Just a Minute, Janata Ki Adalath, Samadooram and his Signature property Sreekandan Nair Show during his stint with other Malayalam Channels. During 80s he was associated with All India Radio as a Programme Executive. He has also penned and staged over 1500 satirical Radio plays, Radio dramas and documentaries.
