Trivandrum: Malayalam Entertainment channel Flowers TV is putting a brave fight against its competitors in Malayalam GEC space. While the top spot in Kerala GEC market was held by Asianet undisputedly, the No. 2 spot is witnessing a major churn with the position being shuffled between Mazhavil Manorama, Surya TV and Flowers TV.
As part of their strategy to grab the second place among Malayalam GECs, all the three channels are constantly trying new stuff. On its part Flowers TV has launched a new fiction show Manjal Prasadam started from 28th November in its 9.00 PM, every Monday to Friday.
In addition to this, the channel also planned plenty of new additions and implements changes in the telecast time of various popular shows as following:
- Comedy Super Nite 2 has been reduced to a half an hour programme effective from 28th November 2016 and the program will be aired from 8.30 PM to 9.00 PM (Monday to Friday).
- However, Comedy Super Nite 2 Weekend Special Episodes will be aired as one hour Programme from 8.30 P.M to 9.30 P.M (Saturday & Sunday).
- Moonnu Mani serial, which is being aired at 6:30 PM, has been shifted to 7:30 PM effective from 12th December 2016 onwards.
- New Kids Program “Katturumbu” will be aired from 3rd December 2016, Saturday and Sunday between 08.00 P.M to 8.30 PM. Apparently, Katturumbu replaces Uppum Mulakum which is going off-air now.
- New Malayalam serial Maamattykutty has been scheduled from 12th December 2016 Onwards and it is scheduled for telecast between 07.30 P.M to 08.00 P.M (Monday to Friday)
The Channel will also be airing Deepak Dev Show on 11th December 2016 (Sunday) from 2.00 P.M to 5.00 PM and the Musical Event Sangeetha Sandhya is scheduled for telecast on 18th December 2016 (Sunday) from 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM.
