The Flipkart kids are back. And this time, they are planning trips to the Far East, trending locations in India and where the Indian cricket team will be playing its World Cup matches. And why all the travel? Because it is discounted on the Big Billion Days sale.
Flipkart arm Cleartrip will have its annual Big Billion Days sale from October 7 to 15, while the sale will be live on parent site Flipkart between October 8 and October 15.
The campaign highlights the ease of booking and instant refunds on cancellations as employees of a travel agency not only book holidays and trips for their clients, but jump on the idea of heavy discounts themselves. The idea behind the Flipkart kids campaign was the ease of buying online – as easy as child’s play. That’s the same thought behind bringing the kids back – easy hotel and flight bookings. This marries with the campaign slogan ‘Ab desh sochega nahi, seedha book karega!’
The campaign has been conceptualised by Cleartrip’s internal creative team.
Kunal Dubey, CMO, Cleartip, said, “Our mission is to transform travel into an exhilarating adventure, something you can decide on a whim. No more months of stressful planning; instead, envision spontaneous road trips, last-minute beach escapes, or impromptu city getaways. We are thrilled to carry forward Flipkart’s legacy of ‘kidults’ which perfectly mirrors our idea of a booking experience – easy, enjoyable, and straightforward.”
“At Cleartrip, we have continued to roll out customer-centric offerings that enable unlimited flexibility and affordability to the traveller. We are confident that our customer and product-centric offerings will enable customers across the board to make bookings to their dream destinations and celebrate this festive season.”
