New Delhi: Fittr, one of the world’s leading community-based fitness brands, announced the launch of the 14th edition of its flagship Transformation Challenge (TC) offering an action-packed fitness experience to new and potential fitness enthusiasts across the globe.
The thrilling 12-week challenge commenced on 30th August 2021 and is being hosted on the Fittr app with an intent to promote a healthier lifestyle and develop a fitter India.
To create further excitement amongst its users, Fittr has also launched a digital campaign – #NoMoreExcuses urging people to drop all excuses, stop procrastinating and embark on their fitness journey to become a fitter and better version of themselves. As part of the campaign, the brand has conceptualized ad films highlighting how conveniently excuses act as obstacles for people who are taking their first step towards a fitter life.
Kickstarting TC 14, Jitendra Chouksey, Founder & CEO, Fittr said, “At Fittr, our philosophy is to help people push themselves and motivate them to take the next step towards a fitter life. The Transformation Challenge reflects that and with each challenge, we witness an overwhelming response on Fittr. This time around as well, we expect greater enthusiasm from new and potential community members, and I wish all the participants the very best and look forward to seeing some amazing fitness transformations.”
Commenting on the campaign, Kapil Mehta, Head of Marketing, Fittr said, “The #NoMoreExcuses campaign extends on Transformation Challenge 13’s campaign route that had recurrent procrastination as a substantial barrier in the category. The campaign puts out a lighter spin on a multitude of excuses that show up regularly whilst inspiring users to take up the challenge to end this never-ending cycle. By deploying a digital campaign, we hope to reach the length and breadth of the country encouraging people to pursue their fitness goals and build a sustainable healthy lifestyle by participating in the Transformation Challenge. We are aiming to bring about behavioral changes and create a mindset shift while moving towards developing a fitter India.”
As part of the challenge, each participant is required to upload a video every week to showcase their week-on-week progress, based on the guidelines. Fittr’s Transformation Challenges not only aim at encouraging people to push themselves, but also inculcate the mantra that fitness is a journey in which one competes with their self and no one else. Winners from Fittr’s Transformation Challenge 13 which concluded on 25th July 2021, showcased this spirit and exhibited the true power of resilience and consistency.
This year, the Transformation Challenge gets even more exciting, as one winner stands the chance to win a grand prize of INR 1 crore. In TC 14, winners stand a chance to win cash rewards worth close to INR 20 lakhs across categories including Individual, Partner, and Senior Citizen. The Individual category is further classified into male and female, with each winner receiving INR 3 lakhs and the runner-up INR 1 lakh each. Fittr has also introduced a new category called Beginners, in this edition. Winners from each of the Senior Citizen, Partner, and Beginner categories will receive INR 1 lakh in cash, while the runners-up will receive INR 50,000 each.
Winners of the challenge are shortlisted and evaluated based on several parameters, including muscle gain, fat loss, and consistency in performance from previous challenges. A jury will select the top 10 contenders from each of the three editions of Transformation Challenges taking place in 2021 (TC12, TC 13, and TC 14). The winner from among these 30 finalists will be declared the grand prize winner.
