Pickurflick Indie Film Festival powered by First post is a podium where independent artists can step forward and showcase their film making skills and connect with their most relevant audiences. The three-day affair kick-starting from 19th – 21st May 2017 will take place in New Delhi.

With an aim to promote fresh and upcoming talent in short films and the documentary space, the digital platform has decided to join hands with the distinctive film festival. Being the exclusive media partners, Firstpost will also engage its viewers by holding FB live sessions and interviews with the artists and directors of renowned films, in addition to offering exhaustive coverage throughout the festival.
The capital city boasts of citizens having a diverse taste in a plethora of cinema genres. The festival will be screening 70 independent films in more than 10 languages across 4 categories, appealing to audiences with various interests. This will include 52 shorts, 7 features, 8 animations and 3 documentaries, resulting in the best of global indie flicks, short flicks, and documentaries will be showcased on one single platform for the first time.
The Goldfish Who Swam Out of the Fishbowl; The Third law; Honourable Mention, Swachange, and Words Unsaid are some of the Indian short films that will be screened at the film festival. Apart from the highly-acclaimed English and Hindi language films, there will be films in various other regional languages as well like Bengali, Tamil and Kannada; and foreign languages like German, Spanish, Norwegian, and more. The festival will also comprise a segment dedicated to silent films, among many other genres.
