Regional movie channel Filamchi Bhojpuri under IN10 Media Network, will recognise Bhojpuri music with an awards show on 28 January at Bapu Sabhagar in Patna. The show will be called Filamchi Music and will commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Bhojpuri film industry that was celebrated last year.
The Filamchi Music Awards will look to blend folk, playback singers, and contemporary celebrities.

Filamchi Bhojpuri VP programming, strategy Rajeev Mishra said, “Music has always played a pivotal role in attracting viewership. Filamchi Music Awards is our initiative to honour the industry, and we anticipate continued support from both the industry and the audience.”
The musical event will bring together Hindi playback singers Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik, alongside Bhojpuri celebrities, to share one stage. The award ceremony, hosted by actor Ali Asgar, Sanket Bhosale, and Monalisa (Antara Biswas), will showcase a line-up of artists, including cinema personalities such as Manoj Tiwari, Ravi Kishan, Pawan Singh, Dinesh Lal Yadav ‘Nirahua’, Khesari Lal Yadav, Amrapali Dubey, and more.
The event is presented by Shyam Steel and is co-powered by Adani Wilmar’s Fortune Soyabean Oil Radio Mirchi and music streaming service Gaana are the exclusive Entertainment Partners while Trimurti Publicity and Marketing is the Outdoor Partner for the event.
