New Delhi: India’s leading Sports and Daily Nutrition brand Fast&Up has pledged to support all Indian athletes who win a medal in the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 with free nutritional supplements all through the next Olympic cycle. The athletes can avail Fast&Up’s full range of sports supplements for the next three years leading up to the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Making the announcement today, Vijayraghavan Venugopal, CEO Fast&Up said, “Just like the rest of the country, we were extremely encouraged to see Mirabai Chanu’s special success on the first day of the Tokyo Olympic Games itself. We want to pledge our support to the cause of India’s athletes and also honor the achievements of every single athlete who wins a medal in the Tokyo Olympics. Hence, we would like to announce a commitment of free nutritional support to all the medal winners for the next 3 years to help them prepare for the next Olympics in Paris.”
“We already support a number of athletes with certain products; however, Fast&Up has recently designed a whole range of Sports Nutrition supplements specific to the needs of high-performance athletes. With this constant evolution in our product line, we feel we have a bigger role to play for our elite athletes. Moreover, to help more promising athletes in their journey, we will also consider more athletes outside the medal-winning category who have displayed good performance at the event,” Venugopal said.
Fast&Up already supports a number of Indian athletes, including notable Olympians like Sathiyan Gnanasekharan, Sharath Kamal, Srihari Nataraj, and Pooja Rani. Beyond this, the Sports and Daily Nutrition brand has been extending support to numerous Olympic hopefuls over the last five years with its range of sports nutrition. This also includes product supplies to National Federations in some sports.
As part of the partnership agreement, Fast&Up’s entire portfolio of products; which ranges from electrolytes to proteins, will be made available to winners on a monthly basis as per their requirements.
