Mumbai: Mithila Saraf (Copy) and Nishad Jagtap (Art) from Famous Innovations have qualified for the Cannes Young Lions Creative Competition 2017. The duo have won the Indian leg of the competition for the second year in a row. Jagtap and Saraf win an all expenses trip to France to participate in the global Young Lions competition in Cannes.
The winning team commented, “We are honoured and excited for the next leg of the journey. It’s an uncomparable opportunity and representing India at Cannes among 50 countries is truly humbling. We hope to make everyone proud.”
Raj Kamble, Founder and Chief Creative Officer, Famous Innovations added, “Nishad and Mithila have been shining at Famous since the last many years, they always bring something innovative to the table. I am sure they will reign in the Lion at Cannes too.”
The Times Group represents Cannes Young Lions in India and the judging process was assessed and monitored by Ernst & Young. The jury this year was Amer Jaleel (Chairman & CCO, Mullen Lowe Lintas), Tista Sen (SVP & NCD, JWT), Ashish Khazanchi, (Managing Partner, Enormous), Soumitra Karnik (NCD, Dentsu) and Hemant Shringy (ECD, BBDO).
