Kochi: EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) has officially opened a new office at Prestige Cyber Green in Kochi, marking a significant step in the company’s growth in India. The new facility is the fourth EY GDS office in Kochi, reinforcing the city as a central hub for the organization’s future expansion. The launch of the office is part of EY’s ongoing strategy to leverage Kerala’s rich talent pool and innovative ecosystem, contributing to the company’s ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions to its global client base.
The inauguration event, which was attended by several dignitaries including P Rajeev, Kerala’s Honourable Minister for Industries, Law and Coir, and Ajay Anand, Global Vice Chair of EY GDS, kicked off with the traditional lighting of the lamp. The ceremony also featured a keynote address by Ajay Anand and an inaugural speech by Minister P Rajeev. The event included a panel discussion on “Leveraging Kerala for GCC’s Growth and Scale” and a session focused on EY GDS’s corporate responsibility initiatives in the region, such as the Career Reinstate Program and Next-Gen Employability Program.

Since its establishment in 2002, EY GDS has been a key player in Kerala’s economic landscape, with over 10,000 employees in the state, including more than 7,000 in Kochi and around 3,000 in Thiruvananthapuram. EY GDS plans to double its workforce in Kerala over the next four to five years, further cementing the state’s position as a global center for excellence and innovation.
