New Delhi: Everyone hates to be put on a wait while watching a series, video or even games by an advertisement. Even when we know how useful these ads are for the channels or the brands, instead of watching what the ad says we only wait to press the skip ads.
Seeing this as a hassle to their gamers, Mobile gaming and e-sports start-up EWar Games is introducing a new unconventional way of advertising. This will not only make the gamers experience worthwhile but also will help the brands to reach out to their niche target in an innovative and fun way. The idea aims to make gaming sites into a mainstream advertising platform for brands helping them reach out the right target.
EWar begins with their new marketing strategy with the smartphone brand Poco, introducing their new launch to the gamers while playing Tappy birds in their week-long tournament called ‘Tappybird showdown’. Poco mobile phones will be placed inside the game, wherein the players will have to collect the phone to earn extra cookie points. The tournament also gives chance to the winners to be awarded with the new POCO M2 Pro smartphone.
This immersive in-game environment can be leveraged to drive massive end-user engagement through gamified advertising content and strategic brand placement.
EWar is also in conversation with all its other sponsoring brands to have a similar contract for the advertising model. With every brand integration, EWar will organize a customized tournament for the brands or product to engage and introduce them to their players.
