Mumbai: ET NOW owned by BCCL, which also owns TOI, continues to top ratings table, according to BARC, in the English business news category (NCCS AB Males 22+| All India 1 million+ markets), with a 48% viewership share, the latest data of week 34 showed. Its nearest competitor, CNBC TV18, had a viewership share of 27%.
ET NOW has a channel share of 42% across the last 4-week period (week 31 to week 34 in 2015) while CNBC TV18 trailed with a 38% share in the same period.
The Channel’s overall viewership jumped 65% in the last eight weeks (week 27 to week 34), over the previous 6-week period (week 21 to week 26) and a massive 140% during market hours in the same period.
ET NOW further consolidated its dominance in the critical market-hour band as well, with a 51% share versus 28% share of CNBC TV18 in the latest week. Currently , ET NOW is leading in 1-million-plus Metros in market hour.
