Elon Musk has put the Twitter deal “temporarily on hold” due to non-clarity of spam or fake accounts on the platform. He mentioned this on his twitter post.

Musk has been vocal about his desire to clean up Twitter’s problem with “spam bots” that mimic real people and appeared to question whether the company was underreporting them.
Musk tweeted a Reuters story that cited the fake account figures. Twitter has said that the figures were an estimate and that the actual number may be higher.
Musk also mentioned that he is “still committed to acquisition”.
