New Delhi: BYJU’S, the world’s most valuable edtech company, today launched a new campaign video to celebrate Teacher’s Day in a special way. This digital film expresses gratitude to the teachers and mentors who went above and beyond their call of duty to ensure that students continue learning seamlessly even during the unexpected COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting lockdown.
Conceptualized and created by Spring, the video highlights the role played by teachers to overcome challenges and support students over the last few months and sees different students thanking their teachers for various reasons. While the role of teachers has always been special, this year it has been even more special as teachers have gone the extra mile to move online and reinvent teaching strategies to cope with the new normal even as all schools, colleges and coaching centers were shut down. The video further acknowledges and appreciates their efforts to engage with their students during the lockdown, making online classes from home a ‘class apart’, solving their doubts, and embracing the new format of learning with so much determination and passion.
In the early days of the lockdown, BYJU’S teachers had adapted quickly to ensure uninterrupted learning for students. Teachers at BYJU’S created a teaching space at their respective homes and set up a home-studio to continue delivering online classes seamlessly. As online platforms had become the only available study option during this period, BYJU’S had made access to its content on the app free during this period. Since the lockdown, BYJU’S has seen over 20 million new students start learning from its platform.
