New Delhi: The eighteenth edition of the much awaited ‘Hero World Challenge’ will tee off on 30th November held at the picturesque Albany in New Providence. This edition brings together the top 18 ranked golfers from across the globe under one roof. The four day tournament will help the participating golfers to attain the crucial World Ranking points.
The prestigious tournament will be telecast live on DSPORT from 30th November – 3nd December, 2018, 12:00 am onwards for the first two days while the action of the last two days will be live from 10:30 pm and 9:30 pm respectively.
The defending champion, Rickie Fowler, will be seen back in action partnering alongside Dustin Johnson. He will be eyeing at the trophy for the second consecutive time.
The reigning Masters Tournament champion Patrick Reed and Hero Challenge Dubai winner Henrik Stenson look in really good form and they would be the right contenders to watch out for in this edition.
The current World No 2 Justin Rose, who recently won the Turkish Airlines Open, looks in splendid form and he would be ready to make his mark on this cup; The host of this prestigious tournament, Tiger Woods, who made an incredible come back with his recent win in the PGA Championship, 2018 will be all set to nail another victory.
Jason Day, Bubba Watson, Gary Woodland and Hideki Matsuyama will headline a star-studded field at the Hero World Challenge. Jon Rahm who finished T4 at the World Tour Championship will be making his first appearance in this edition.
Since the inaugural Hero World Challenge in 2000, the contest has become very popular with players and spectators alike.
