Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India has recently named Dr. Bikramjit Chaudhuri as its new Chief of Measurement Science & Analytics, succeeding Dr. Derrick Gray, a seasoned executive in Audience Measurement and Advanced Analytics. Dr. Gray, who has been a valued member of the BARC India team for six remarkable years, will pass on the torch to Dr. Chaudhuri
Bikramjit Chaudhuri, known as Bikram, earned his Ph.D. from IIT Bombay and holds a Master of Statistics degree from the Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi. With over thirty years of extensive experience, his expertise encompasses Statistics, Stochastic Modeling, Market Measurement, Consumer Segmentation, AI & ML, Demand Forecasting, and Big Data Analytics. He boasts numerous research papers, publications, and patents in these fields.
Bikram has served as the Global Head of Data Science & Advanced Analytics at the Datamatics Group of Companies since 2016. Before joining Datamatics, he held various leadership positions, leading substantial teams of senior professionals at KPMG, Nielsen, and ZS Associates.
