Mumbai: Zee Media Group-owned English daily Daily News and Analysis (DNA) has revealed that it will be shutting down its Mumbai and Ahmedabad print editions effective from 10th October.
DNA in its statement disclosed that it would be focusing on its online brand, which has grown “manifolds in the digital space”. In addition to the web portal www.dnaindia.com it will also launch its Mobile App shortly, with more focus on Video-based Original Content.
Thanking the subscribers of its print edition over the past 14 years, DNA has also communicated that it has arranged for refunding the annual and long-term subscribers, who had paid for the print subscription in advance.
Attributing that only the medium is changing, DNA said “Instead of your doorstep, we will now keep traveling with you wherever you are”
As a precursor to going fully digital DNA has winded up its Delhi edition in February 2019 while the Pune and Bengaluru editions went off the shelf in 2014.
