A visually immersive and breathtaking cinematic experience of an epic scale, the film re-imagines the massive storm that struck New England causing an Oil tanker to rip in half trapping the 30 sailors on the sinking ship. As word of the disaster reaches a US Coast Guard station, Warrant Officer Daniel Cluff orders a daring rescue to help the stranded men. Faced with overwhelming odds, four men, led by Coast Guard Captain Bernie Webber, set out in a wooden lifeboat despite sixty foot high waves and hurricane force winds.
