Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific has announced a content partnership with Viddsee in Asia, where select content from Discovery will be available online for the first time in the region, starting with films from the channel’s First Time Filmmakers (FTFM) initiative. Fans will now be able to view the full-length documentaries on mobile, as Discovery continues to diversify its product offering, engage new audiences, and make content more accessible in a multi-platform environment.
The Discovery FTFM showcase on Viddsee will launch this month, kicking off with Singapore Stories and Super Japan. Other titles include Nanjing Calling, Korea Next and FTFM Vietnam. FTFM aims to foster local filmmaking talent and help support the local documentary filmmaking industry. The films are available at www.viddsee.com/discovery from 1st June 2016.
Viddsee is an entertainment platform with award-winning short films that reaches millennials through its community-based approach to content distribution. Its daily curation of short films are distributed and marketed to online communities on its social, web and mobile platform. As a product, it is designed to encourage discovery, and to engage users with stories that matter to them.
