Mumbai: For over 80 years, the Jeep brand has been the calling of the adventurers’ and the off-road enthusiast. It has been synonymous with freedom and outdoor adventures. However, it’s the story that goes beyond them that has captured the imagination of those who drive the Jeep SUVs. The lifestyles that the SUVs help realise. Inward journeys, newfound passions, closeness to nature, a new social circle, and so much more. Thus, Jeep launched My Jeep Story, a platform for owners to tell the world about the unique bond they share with their Jeep SUVs and the lives they live with it. Ways of life that are unique to each owner and powered by their machines. Tales that define the Jeep life.
After helping people across the world enjoy their adventures,Jeep has brought a story that’s both personal to the owner and yet echoes an emotion that’s close to every nature lover. The tale of repaying one’s debt to Mother Nature. Jeep’s latest film follows Kartick Satyanarayan, the co-founder of Wildlife SOS, an NGO that rescues and rehabilitates at-risk wild animals. Kartick’s life revolves around heading into the deepest and darkest jungles in his Wrangler to search, save, and conserve India’s rich heritage.
Rahul Pansare, CMO & Head PR- FCA India Automobiles, shared his views on the film. “My Jeep Story was created to celebrate the stories of Jeep owners who live a life that inspires many in a very unique and a special way. These are people who believe in Freedom & who live an exceptional Jeep Life – a life of adventures, passion, and accomplishments. Because at the end of the day, you don’t just drive a Jeep, you drive a lifestyle. And we are extremely proud of the life built by Kartick and Wildlife SOS. The team has done an amazing job in capturing Kartick’s story and his creditable contribution to Mother Nature.”
In the words of Mark Mcdonald, EVP and Head of Creative, Digitas India –“We all talk about the importance of preserving our natural ecosystem, but here’s someone who truly walks the talk. Kartick’s story has everything – courage, nobility, and a cause that’s second to none. With everything going on in the world, he’s a beacon of hope that someone out there is spending every waking hour taking care of the planet and its residents. And it’s heartening to see Jeep – a brand so intrinsically woven into the outdoors and nature – help him further his cause and tell his story. A story that packs in all the emotions of the wild, and gives us a unique behind the scenes look into an incredible man and his mission.”
The film was written in collaboration with Kartick, in his words, recorded in his voice, and filmed at Wildlife SOS’Care and Conservation centres.
