Mumbai: Dice Media, the premium video division of Pocket Aces, released “Khan-Daan”, the second episode of its new original web series, “2by3”. This 4-episode web series will air every Wednesday via Dice Media’s YouTube and Facebook channels. This will be the first digital web series sponsored by any PepsiCo brand, and is part of Kurkure’s “Kurkure Khul Jaye Toh Family Ban Jaye” campaign.
The series highlights some unusual and chatpata moments bringing out the chemistry between a mature thirty year old couple and three carefree twenty year old boys, who are all forced to live together for 2 months.
While the first episode introduces us to the quirky characters and the dynamics of a forced flat-mate relationship, the second episode sees them having to adjust to each other’s lifestyle and habits. The quarrels are what we encounter in every household – fighting for the TV, arguing about what to watch etc. Some ground rules in this house have been set about the TV timings – but when the TV premiere of Aashna’s favourite star Shah Rukh Khan’s new film is on TV, Aashna and Balan try to figure how to watch it because it falls under the stipulated time for the boys and so the boys try their best to not let that happen. We also see Rohan ending up having a soft corner for the couple and helping them to convince the boys.
The show is written and directed by Ashwin Lakshmi Narayan, who has written and directed several of FilterCopy’s best performing videos like “Offline”, “Middle Class Things We All Do” for Flipkart, “LITbit with Irrfan Khan” and more. The series stars the popular digital actors – Sukant Goel and Kriti Vij as the thirty-year old couple, and Akash Deep Arora, Daljeet Singh and Govind Menon as the twenty-year-old bachelors. The five actors play out the quirky characters with élan and their chemistry and resulting hilarity is sure to leave viewers in splits.
