Mumbai: Dice Media, yesterday unveiled the season finale episode of its popular original web series, Little Things. The 5-episode rom-com web series captured the in-between moments of the relationship of an everyday couple. ‘Little Things’ gained much popularity not just for its story that stood relatable to every couple but also the cast starring Mithila Palkar, one of the most popular digital stars in India today, and the talented writer-actor Dhruv Sehgal.
Since the release of its 1st episode, the series has received an overwhelming response, with a total of over 8 million views, over 70,000 shares and 50,000 comments.
The finale episode of Little Things titled ‘HERE WE GO’ unfolds a getaway to the breathtaking Vallonne Vinyards in Nashik, where deeper conversations about life ensue between the couple. Amidst Mother Nature, Kavya speaks her heart out to Dhruv about the question almost every millennial is asking today – what do I really love? What do I really want to do with my life? In the episode credit sequence, we also get a surprise peak at the flashback story – how the couple met at the movies, how they got to know each other, and how they moved in together. Watch the finale episode only to get a sense that this story of Little Things will go on.
Dice Media also announced its next web series in the finale! Rent Dot Con, a caper comedy in the Delhi Belly space, is expected to be out sometime in 2017. We see a tiny sneak peek of the popular digital actor Ashish Verma getting the shock of his life when he opens to door to “Uncle”. The poppy graphics give you the feeling that Rent Dot Con is going to be very different from the subtle tone of Little Things, but that it is going to be one hell of a ride.
Over the course of the first season of Little Things, the cast and producers have been covered by several mainstream and social publications, radio channel Radio One, and have extensive audience interaction via several Facebook Live videos. Posters of the series can also be seen in over 150 Café Coffee Days across Mumbai and Bangalore, and at all charging stations in Bangalore and Hyderabad Airports. Little App and Velvetcase.com, who are sponsors of the web series, have received immense coverage from the five episodes and the marketing efforts.
