Disney+ hotstar’s SVOD market share took a hit also due to free streaming (AVOD Mode) of other cricketing events due to stiff competition from the rivals.
On the other hand the SVOD market share of Jio Cinema has witnessed marginal growth during 2023 due to addition of HBO content in its SVOD offerings while IPL streaming remained in AVOD mode. Netflix and Zee5 maintained their growth while ALT witnessed significant dropping trend throughout the year.
