Dentsu Impact has appointed Shivil Gupta as Executive Creative Director in place of Akashneel Dasgupta, who recently left the agency and joined ADK Fortune as Senior Vice-President and Executive Creative Director. Gupta’s previous assignment was with DDB Mudra as ECD.
Commenting on the appointment of Gupta, Soumitra Karnik, NCD, Dentsu Impact, said, “He is one of the finest creative people who is so grounded. His insights are fresh and temperament of working is so brilliant. Therefore, to get him on board was a natural choice. Dasgupta was a great observer of people with lovely insights. Gupta fits into the role very naturally.”
Speaking on his new assignment Shivil Gupta said, “I am very excited to become a member of the Dentsu Impact family. For me, it has always been people first, and when I met Soumitra and Amit, my first reactions were, ‘Bande achche hain’. Also, you cannot miss the positive vibe and enthusiasm around. I am looking forward to do some amazing work at Dentsu.”
Gupta will be working on brands like Maruti Suzuki and Hindustan Times. His responsibilities will include enhancing the creative qualities of the agency and to build a great creative team.
Gupta has around 13 years of work experience and has worked at agencies like Percept H, Draft FCB, Leo Burnett, Interface Communications. He joined DDB Mudra as Senior Creative Director and was elevated to the position of Executive Creative Director.
