International: Dentsu Aegis Network has appointed Michael Epstein as CEO, Carat Global. He will be based in New York, while reporting to the Carat Global leadership team in London.Epstein will continue to lead Carat’s US operations while a search for his successor is conducted. He will be reporting directly into Peter Huijboom, global CEO media and performance and global clients.
Epstein joined Carat US in 2013 as chief strategy officer and last helmed the role of CEO, Carat US. Under his leadership, the agency worked with United Airlines, Intel and P&G US businesses, as well as retaining the Microsoft account globally.
Prior to joining Carat, Epstein spent 14 years with Mindshare. Before leaving the agency, he was the president, client services. He also had a one year stint with Ogilvy in 1999.
