Medianews4u.com caught up with Rachna Kango Senior Director, ESG & Strategic Marketing Delta Electronics India

Q. From a marketing perspective, what are the priorities and goals of Delta Electronics?

Delta Electronics’ marketing priorities are aligned with our mission of delivering smarter, greener solutions. Our focus is on enhancing brand visibility in key markets, driving conversations around energy efficiency and sustainability, and positioning Delta as a thought leader in smart manufacturing and e-mobility.

We aim to deepen engagement with customers and partners by showcasing our innovative solutions across sectors like industrial automation, EV charging, and energy infrastructure. Digital transformation plays a crucial role in our marketing efforts, ensuring we leverage data-driven insights to craft personalised, impactful campaigns.

Q. What trends are expected to be seen in 2025 when it comes to purpose-driven and sustainability marketing? What role will Delta Electronics play in this?

In 2025, purpose-driven marketing will continue to gain momentum, with brands expected to align their messaging closely with global sustainability goals.

Consumers are becoming more conscious of the environmental impact of their choices, pushing companies to be transparent and accountable. Delta Electronics will play a key role by advocating for cleaner energy solutions, showcasing our energy-efficient products, and emphasising our commitment to reducing carbon emissions.

We’re embracing storytelling that highlights real-world impact, leveraging case studies and partnerships to demonstrate how our innovations drive sustainability across industries.

Q. The company’s mission is ‘smarter, greener together.’ How is this ingrained in the company’s culture?

‘Smarter, greener together’ is not just a tagline — it’s embedded in every aspect of our culture. At Delta Electronics, we encourage collaboration across teams to drive innovation and sustainability. From R&D to operations, every department is aligned with our sustainability goals.

Our manufacturing facilities are designed with energy efficiency in mind, incorporating renewable energy sources and smart automation. Additionally, we empower employees to participate in green initiatives, fostering a sense of shared responsibility towards building a sustainable future.

Q. What is the strategy to ensure that sustainability is a part of Delta Electronics’ marketing message in 2025? Is sustainability a difficult area because there is no short-term ROI?

Sustainability is at the core of Delta’s value proposition, and we ensure that it’s integrated into every narrative we share. Our strategy involves showcasing tangible results — from reducing carbon footprints to improving energy efficiency across industries.

While the ROI on sustainability might not be immediate, we believe in long-term impact. Educating our audience about the lifecycle benefits of green technologies and presenting data-driven insights on energy savings helps us build a compelling case for sustainable practices.

Rachna Kango

Q. What are the campaigns and marketing innovations that Delta Electronics will be doing in the coming months?

We’re gearing up for several exciting campaigns focussed on smart manufacturing, e-mobility, and green energy solutions. Storytelling will take center stage, where we’ll highlight success stories and customer testimonials across digital platforms.

We’re also exploring immersive experiences through virtual product showcases, webinars, and augmented reality demonstrations to give customers a closer look at our technologies.

Social media will play a pivotal role in creating conversations around sustainability, leveraging targeted content to reach diverse audiences.

Q. Is it difficult to be authentic in marketing in the face of difficult competition?

Authenticity is the foundation of our marketing strategy. In a competitive market, what sets Delta apart is our unwavering commitment to delivering on our promises. Every claim we make is backed by decades of engineering expertise and real-world applications.

Rather than focussing on competition, we prioritise transparency by showcasing our product performance, energy savings, and customer success stories, which builds long-term trust with our stakeholders.

Q. What will the media mix look like for Delta Electronics in 2025? Will marketing spending grow in 2025?

In 2025, our media mix will reflect a balanced approach between digital channels, industry publications, and strategic partnerships. Digital will be at the forefront, leveraging content marketing, webinars and podcasts, to amplify our message.

Traditional media like print and television will be used strategically for product launches and thought leadership. We anticipate an increase in marketing spend, particularly to strengthen our digital presence and enhance content-driven storytelling.

Rachna Kango

Q. What role do AI and machine learning play in helping Delta Electronics offer improved solutions?

AI and machine learning are at the heart of our innovation. These technologies help us optimise product performance, predict maintenance needs, and improve energy management in real time.

In our smart manufacturing solutions, AI enables adaptive control mechanisms, ensuring higher efficiency and reduced downtime. Moreover, AI-driven insights allow us to tailor customer experiences, offering personalised solutions that align with specific industry needs.

Q. Do companies focussing on green projects and transparent ESG help them from a brand-building perspective?

Absolutely. In today’s business landscape, transparency and sustainability are powerful differentiators. Companies that embrace green projects and disclose their ESG practices build deeper trust with customers, investors, and partners.

Delta Electronics’ commitment to sustainability has strengthened our brand, positioning us as a responsible corporate leader. Our focus on reducing carbon emissions and enhancing energy efficiency resonates with stakeholders who value long-term environmental stewardship.

Rachna Kango

Q. How does Delta Electronics approach the challenge of making sense of vast amounts of data to identify market gaps, improve campaigns, etc.? Is the lack of data when it comes to the effectiveness of sustainability an issue?

Data is crucial in guiding our strategies at Delta. We employ advanced analytics to track market trends, customer feedback, and product performance, allowing us to identify market gaps and fine-tune our offerings. When it comes to measuring sustainability, the challenge lies in standardising metrics across industries.

However, we address this by using energy consumption data, carbon footprint reduction, and lifecycle analyses to quantify our impact. Sharing these insights helps us demonstrate progress and reinforces our credibility in the sustainability space.
