Dell continues to be the India’s Most Trusted Brand for the fourth consecutive year in TRA’s Brand Trust Report 2023. Xiaomi Mobiles, on the other hand, has maintained its lead in the Mobile Phone category, securing the 2nd position for the third consecutive year. Titan Watches has made a significant leap of five positions to become the 3rd most trusted brand in India in 2023. The report, which is in its twelfth edition, is the outcome of syndicated research conducted on more than 2500 consumer-influencers from 16 cities in India.
BMW rises three spots to claim the 4th position, followed by Bata at 5th place, up 32 ranks from last year. FOGG sees a huge jump of 106 ranks to reach the 7th slot, while LG Televisions drops five ranks to ninth. Amul Cheese makes a significant climb of 185 ranks to secure the 10th position.
Samsung Mobiles falls to 11th, Tata Salt moves up one spot to 12th, and Apple iPhone rises three spots to 14th. SBI takes the 15th position, Amul Butter is at 16th, and Nivea rises 60 ranks to 18th while leading the skincare category. Facebook and Puma took a leap to reach 19th and 20th spot.
N Chandramouli, CEO,TRA Research, said, “This year, 293 brands experienced an increase in their Brand Trust rankings, while 303 brands saw their rankings decline compared to the previous report. Remarkably, 401 brands that were not listed last year have made it onto the list this year, with only 3 brands maintaining unchanged rankings. It is evident that consumer trust has become a vital factor for brands to concentrate on in order to remain relevant in today’s fiercely competitive landscape.”
