Deepali Naair revealed via LinkedIn her appointment as the Director, Digital sales, India and ASEANZK Digital Sales Centre, Bangalore by IBM. Earlier she held the position of Director – Marketing for India and South Asia region.
She commented on her appointment by saying, “Digital sales is a key to IBM strategy and with that comes a lot of opportunities to take on new missions and hire new talent. A lot to look forward to. Leaving marketing will not be easy. I absolutely love the marketing team and the partnership we built with the business team. I have to admit, I was blown away by the level of competency and therefore the awards we won as the ISA Marketing Team in IBM but here is an opportunity for me to learn and build all over again.”
“Bangalore Digital Centre will enable key brand missions at IBM including systems-storage, power, cloud and cognitive software, public cloud, TSS digital sales and red hat. The Bangalore Centre will focus on digital sales across India, ASEAN, Korea and Australia,” she further added.
Before IBM, she led Marketing and Digital at IIFL Wealth group of Companies. She was also a Non-Executive member of the Board at IIFL Wealth Finance. In financial services, she has held leadership positions with L&T Insurance & HSBC. She has also worked with Tata Motors, BPL Mobile, Draft FCB-Ulka, was the Marketing Manager at Marico. She headed Products and Marketing at HSBC Global Asset Management India and at L&T General Insurance Company she was Head – Marketing, Digital Sales and Customer service. She was the Chief Marketing officer at Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India. Both Digital & Inventory sales saw tremendous growth under her leadership.
