Times Now Navbharat, News Nation and Aaj Tak bagged three slots in the third round of the bidding for vacant MPEG-2 slots under Bucket C, which started at a base price of Rs 13 crore.
Times Now Navbharat bought a slot for Rs 15.15 crore, and News Nation bagged a slot for Rs 15.05 crore.
The last channel to get a slot was Aaj Tak, which bagged a slot for Rs 15.1 crore, pooling it with nine other channels that spent an excess of Rs 14.55 crore to get slots for Prasar Bharati’s Free Dish.
Some channels that bagged slots in Bucket C during the auction on Thursday and Friday included R Bharat, TV9 Bharatvarsh, Zed News, NDTV India, News18 India, and ABP News.
