Delhi: Global footwear brand Crocs has announced partnership with CBN Foundation. CBN Foundation is a non-profit organization, aligned to the Government’s vision on reform and social initiatives.
In a bid to give back to the community, Crocs came up with the initiative titled ‘Khushi ke Kadam’, a Foot Care Awareness programme focusing majorly on prevention of foot diseases. Every year, the brand imparts education to the underprivileged on how correct shoe sizes should be worn to take care of your feet. Adding to that, Crocs vigorously donates Crocs shoes to support the idea behind ‘Khushi ke Kadam’.
Speaking on the partnership and initiative, Deepak Chhabra, MD, Crocs India, said, “This partnership is just a means to our goal, which is to unite people for a cause. This initiative represents the collective societal objective to create awareness for foot diseases. We hope this association can help the underprivileged children in a substantial way.”
Echoing similar thoughts, Bhavna Tewari, E-commerce and Marketing Manager, Crocs India, said, “The core aim of this initiative was to spread awareness on foot care. Giving back to the community is textured in our brand’s value systems. Reaffirming our commitment to the community, we launched this initiative to make a positive impact on the society. It was my privilege to be able to bring a change in their lives and I hope we continue our efforts with the same spirit.”
