CRED, a reward-based credit card payments app, has unveiled its latest campaign. The ad film features India’s most favourite Australian cricketer, David Warner and Legendary Filmmaker SS Rajamouli alongside. The Bahubali-inspired ad film, starring both the stalwarts, leaves the fans in split as they did not see it coming.
The TV Commercial opens with Rajamouli inquiring discounts for his match tickets to Warner. While he replies instantly about cashback offer for CRED UPI, Rajamouli, then, questions about the use of normal UPI. However, on using the opportunity, the Cricketer asks to do favour for a discount. Then rolls out the hilarious part of the campaign where the filmmaker directs actor Warner in a Bahubali-inspired backdrop.
Be it Warner asking “Can I get a Kangaroo instead?” or telling his director “See you at the Oscars” or him taking out a bat instead of sword, every scene of the ad film makes the fans splitting their sides. Howbeit, the hilarious advertisement ends with Rajamouli agreeing to upgrade his CRED UPI.

The witty dialogues and spontaneous expression make the one-minute long CRED advertisement hilarious and intriguing as well.
David Warner shared on his official Instagram handle, “Playing in India has introduced me to many things but if I had to pick a favorite it would be the films. Pushpa, Baahubali, RRR… I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched these legendary films (and even edited myself in those). So getting the chance to pay homage to my favorite films was an absolute blast. Thank you legend @ssrajamouli & @cred_club for making this happen.”
He also tweeted, “Warner bros” while sharing the ad film on his Twitter handle. On the other hand, Rajamouli tweeted, “The longest shoot of my life” and CRED tweeted, “Favours are subject to market risk” on its official handle.
