Mumbai: COLORS is set to launch ‘Mishri’, a narrative that celebrates the sweetness of relationships and unconventional bonds. Amid challenging circumstances, Mishri, Vaani, and Raghav’s lives intertwine, forming a chosen family and emotional refuge for one another. Despite facing life’s hurdles with their dreams in hand, they find solace in knowing their greatest treasure is each other. In a world often driven by self-interest, their selfless care for one another proves that relationships are bigger than circumstances.
Living in Gangapur near Mathura, Mishri is considered a lucky charm, bringing fortune to every event she attends. However, her own life is fraught with challenges as she battles against her fate. Manipulated by her scheming aunt into an unwanted marriage with her middle-aged uncle, Mishri finds an unexpected savior in Raghav, who reluctantly steps in to marry her instead, though his heart belongs to Vaani. Bound by gratitude and a desire for a genuine family, Mishri keeps the secret of her marriage to Raghav, embracing Vaani not as a rival but as the sister she never had.
Raghav struggles with the daunting task of honoring his commitment to both women, while Vaani’s simple wish for marital happiness hangs in the balance as Mishri becomes her closest friend. This unconventional trio of Mishri, Raghav, and Vaani draws strength from their unity, finding sanctuary in each other’s presence. United by the sweetness of their unbreakable bond, will Mishri, Raghav, and Vaani overcome the bitterness of their circumstances together?
Starring Shruti Bhist as Mishri, Namish Taneja as Raghav, and Megha Chakraborty as Vaani, and produced by Square Productions, ‘Mishri’ premieres on July 3rd and there after will air every day at 8:30pm only on COLORS.
