National: India celebrated its 78th Independence Day with patriotic fervor. Colors Kannada hosted ‘Colorful Independence Day celebrations’ as part of the ‘Namma Desha, Namma Hemme’ campaign, showcasing its commitment to nonstop entertainment across the state.
Television stars, including Rithvik Krupakar and Tanvi Rao, joined Independence Day events at schools in 31 districts, enhancing celebrations. This marked a significant milestone, as it was the first time a TV channel conducted such extensive Independence Day festivities.
Colors Kannada’s unique Independence Day festivities united the patriotic spirit and strengthened its connection with viewers. Spanning 31 districts in Karnataka, the channel showcased its local roots by sending artists from each district to partake in flag-hoisting ceremonies.
These artists, rooted in their culture, embody Colors Kannada’s commitment to connecting with people and celebrating national identity. They hoisted flags, visited temples for “Maharshi Darshana,” and enjoyed local cuisine to promote “SaviRuchi.” Exclusive videos from these visits will feature in our shows for viewers to enjoy a unique experience.

Participating at the celebrations in Mysuru, Ramachaari famed Rithvik Krupakar expressed deep pride, saying “it was proudest moment of my life to celebrate Independence Day with all of you. This day serves as a powerful reminder of India’s rich heritage, the sacrifices of freedom fighters, and unites citizens in celebrating the spirit of Independence Day. I am truly thankful for the opportunity to be part of this special occasion.”

Engaging with the audience and participating in the flag-hoisting ceremonies was a proud moment. It felt wonderful to connect with people and celebrate our nation’s spirit in such a meaningful way.”
