Ogilvy has announced the appointment of Clare Lawson as the Global President of Ogilvy One, the agency’s customer engagement and experience unit. With over two decades of expertise in digital customer engagement, Lawson is set to drive the continued growth of Ogilvy One by expanding its capabilities and strengthening client partnerships.
Lawson previously served as Global Chief Client Officer and Head of EMEA for Ogilvy One, where she played a key role in developing the agency’s proprietary Relationship Design approach. She has led customer engagement strategies for high-profile clients, including Formula 1, Lloyd’s, and Nestlé.
In her new role, Lawson will collaborate with Kent Wertime, CEO of Ogilvy One, and the agency’s global leadership team. Her focus will be on enhancing data-driven marketing solutions, optimizing customer experiences, and maximizing brand engagement through creativity and technology.
“Clare has been instrumental in shaping Ogilvy One’s approach to customer engagement,” said Wertime. “Her leadership is crucial at a time when clients seek measurable, data-driven communications but also need to build meaningful customer relationships.”
Lawson emphasized the importance of leveraging creativity and technology, stating: “Many brands underutilize their technology investments at the expense of customer relationships. At Ogilvy One, we’re proving that creativity, combined with technology and data, is key to unlocking untapped potential and driving significant growth.”
Ogilvy One operates globally with 4,000 specialists across various disciplines, including strategy, creative, UX/UI, data, media and performance, platform integration, creative technology, and AI. The company continues to lead in personalized, performance, and direct marketing, helping brands create lasting customer relationships.
With Lawson at the helm, Ogilvy One is poised for stronger innovation, deeper client engagement, and continued global expansion.
