India has always been part of British history, its tradition, wealth and diversity have served as inspiration for the new collection of the luxury brand Cifonelli.
John Vizzone, Creative Director of Cifonelli, has combined the sensuality, romance and distinction of the Hindu style with the traditional English tailoring to create a sophisticated but relaxed style.
Hindu inspiration is reflected in the richness of the fabrics, betting on exquisite lightweight materials such as silk, fine wool, suede, cotton and linen.
The image of the Cifonelli man is reinventing himself with clothes more casual but always being faithful to his elegance with sartorial pieces.
The classic style endures in the collection with patterns such as Prince of Wales combined with different versions of tartan in two-piece suits. Also, the accessories, such as sandals, classic loafer and velvet slippers with the C of Cifonelli embroidered, gain prominence giving the look a style with a very personal touch. The perfect outfit is completed by sunglasses and XXL Panama hat.
The counterpoint of the collection is manifested in the relaxed aesthetics of bomber-style suede jackets combined with shirts, fluid silk pants and sandals that give the collection a casual but very luxurious style.
Finally, John Vizzone surprises evoking the iconic paisley print proposing a silk blazer inspired in the Hindu tapestries.
Vizzone’s color palette plays with cream, mole, mocha, olive and black tones making reference to the the old school Indian colors.
A journey through Indian heritage guided by Cifonelli hints.
