Mumbai : Chrome Data Analytics And Media Optimal+ India’s largest primary research and data analytics company conducted a study on Top Ads of the week, involving 34000 panel homes across the country for week 12, the survey unveils results of brands under three broad categories namely most watched ads, most aired ads and the most liked ads. The research also gives us a clear picture with the comparative study of the performance of the brands against week 10.
Chrome Optimal+ study shows that Hotstar has taken a giant’s leap from the 4th slot to dominate the most aired list in week 12 whereas the rest of the slots are occupied by new entrants like Lizol and Hotstar Specials in the 2nd and 3rd slots respectively followed by Kia Motors and Appy Fizz in the 4th and 5th places respectively. By this, the new entrants clearly eliminate the other advertisers from last week’s list like Lalitha Jewellery, Godrej, Harpic, Hotstar and Trivago.
Further, the most watched ads list is topped by the new entrant Everest Shahi Paneer Masala and is followed by yet another new entrant Appy Fizz. Tide Plus Extra Power and climbed to occupy the 3rd slot in the list from the 5th slot in previous week. The 4th and 5th most watched ads happened to be Pampers Baby Dry Pants and Surf Excel Easy Wash respectively. However, brands like Apple iPhone XR/XS,Too Yumm Karare, Everest Tikhalal and Fair & Lovely exited from the list this week.
The most liked category list is being led by Appy Fizz which stretched to the No.1 slot from its position at the 3rd place in the previous week. Inspite of emerging as the 5th most aired ad, the brand has become the most liked ad in week 12. Rest of the slots are seen occupied by new entrants like Sunsilk Long And Healthy Growth in the runner up place, Google Pay and amazon.in in the 3rd and 4th slots respectively and olx.in has secured the 5th place in the list in week 12.
