Halifax: CBeebies has ordered a further 25 11-minute episodes of the DHX Media preschool series Twirlywoos, bringing the episode count to 100.
DHX Media also scored a number of new deals for the first 50 episodes of the show, including with Noggin in the U.S., ABC in Australia, Télémagino and SRC in Canada, Spain’s TVE Clan and JimJam in Benelux. Further agreements have been inked with Belgium’s VRT, MBC and E-Junior in the Middle East, Minika in Turkey, TVB in Hong Kong and Singapore’s OKTO, among other broadcasters.
From Anne Wood’s Ragdoll Productions, produced in association with DHX Media, the series is a mix of stop motion and live action. It is targeted at kids 2 to 5.
