Chennai: Betting big on the Indian Dairy segment, FMCG major CavinKare today announced the launch of protein-rich cheese under its flagship dairy brand – Cavin’s. A healthier alternative made of pure cow milk, the newly launched Cavin’s Cheese will be available in three different formats: Slice, Block, and Spread in the Tamil Nadu market to start with. Through this launch, the brand also plans to scale its position into one of the top three players in the consumer segment.
In an effort to expand the market presence and to hold a strong foothold in the dairy segment, Cavin’s has various other high-demand cold chain offerings like, yogurt and butter, in the pipeline. As part of the brand’s expansion plan in Value Added Dairy Products, the brand also plans to launch cheese in diverse exotic and indigenous flavors in all major markets across India.
Cavin’s has evolved into a high quality dairy brand from CavinKare, with its cold chain offerings like Curd, Paneer, Butter and ambient offerings like Milkshakes, Premium Milkshakes, Buttermilk and Lassi in UHT format.

Block Cheese and Spread Cheese will be available in the market in 200g priced at Rs 160/- & 180g priced at Rs 120/- respectively, while Slice cheese is available in different SKUs like 100g priced at Rs 90/- and 480g priced at Rs 400/-.
