Mumbai: The UP Warriorz, a WPL team owned by Capri Spartnerhad partnered with Baseline Ventures for Season 3.
In the last decade, Baseline Ventures has excelled in signing strategic partnerships for athletes and securing sponsorship deals for sports properties in India and worldwide.
The partnership between Capri Sports and Baseline Ventures aims to boost the sporting ecosystem in India, with a focus on elevating women’s sports. UP Warriorz has been leading the way in promoting women in sports, with young players showcasing remarkable performances.
Capri Sports partnering with Baseline Ventures, leaders in athlete representation for women, enhances the initiative. The collaboration holds promise for significant influence in women’s sports and cricket.

In the WPL, the UP Warriorz, led by captain Alyssa Healy, featured players like Deepti Sharma and Sophie Ecclestone. They finished third in the first season and fourth in the next. Young Indian talents such as Shweta Sehrawat, Vrinda Dinesh, and Parshavi Chopra have shone for the team in their distinctive yellow and purple uniform.
